Eastern Naval Command Inducts New FOC

The Eastern Naval Command (ENC) has held a handing over and an induction service for the outgoing Flag Officer Commanding (FOC), Commodore Samuel Walker Emmanuel and the incoming FOC Commodore Ayesu Kwafo respectively on Thursday, 23 July 2020.

Performing the induction immediately after the handing over, the Chaplain, ENC, Lt (GN) Silvanus Dogodzi charged Commodore Kwafo to be faithful and dedicated to God in the discharge of his duties. He also urged the Officers, Ratings and Civilian Employees to accord the new FOC the needed support.

The outgoing FOC, Commodore Samuel Walker in a mini-durbar with all ranks and civilian employees, after the induction, appreciated personnel for their enormous support during his tenure.  He urged  them to cooperate and support the incoming FOC to help build ENC, Ghana Navy and above all make Ghana great and strong.

The incoming FOC, Commodore Kwafo, on his part welcomed the task of leadership bestowed on him and assured  them  he would work hard to maintain a better standard, adding that he was excited  about the work ahead of him.

He thanked his predecessor for positioning the Command on high pedestal, promising that he would  build upon that achievement by exhibiting professionalism, fairness  and honesty in his work while ensuring that personal  received  what was due them.

Present at the  ceremony was a representative of the Commanding Officer, 1Infantry Battalion,  Major Isaac Nelson Ekow Amoah.
