The Mission of the Ghana Air Force is an offshoot of the overall mission of the Ghana Armed Forces as spelt out in the constitutional provisions of the Republic of Ghana. The constitution of Ghana charges the Armed Forces with: “The defense of Ghana as well as such other functions for the development of Ghana as the President may determine”. This translates to the effective maintenance of Ghana’s territorial integrity as well as assistance in the developmental needs of the country as Article 201 (3) of the 1992 Constitution stipulates.
In essence the mission of the Ghana Air Force is to “deliver air power for national security and developmental objectives”.
Our vision is “To become an effective and efficient Air Force that is built around well trained and motivated personnel with a passion for excellence and success”.
